It’s a package of about $8.7 trillion dollars’ worth of potential taxpayer commitments for loans, guarantees and other bailout goodies for businesses and distressed homeowners.
Christmas is not exactly “merry” when stark reality kicks you in the face…what the heck do they mean “nobody understands”….all to help out the idiots who got everybody into this mess…
Gifts for coworkers?
Last year was my first holiday at my new job, and I baked everyone their own personal little cake and gave everyone cookies. I felt that was enough, and they all chipped in and got me a really nice gift, so I did feel a little outdone (I’m their secretary, though, so it seemed appropriate)
Anyway, do you buy for your coworkers? I just don’t have that much money and I would go completely broke if I had to buy for all of mine.
I went to the thrift stores around town and got all the white plates and saucers I could find (sometimes you find a set really cheap) then, make a whole mess of different (and easy) cookies and candies, stick tea bags and cocoa mix pouches on the plates (or cups if you are lucky enough to find some cheap) saran wrap them or get the gift basket wrap at hobby lobby and you’re set
