This gift will likely appeal to all of the participants in the Christmas gift grab bag and will help to ensure the lucky participant who selects your gift will be able to use the gift card to purchase something they really want or need.
Still others who are Christmas shopping for a grab bag gift might consider purchasing a joke gift and including a gift receipt along with the item so the participant can exchange the item for something they would prefer. For example you might want to purchase a CD or DVD to contribute to the grab bag but selecting a CD or DVD which will be appreciated by all the participants and which the participants do not already own can be difficult. Why is it so rare for men to write women poems? Cook and give us candle light dinners? Grab guitars and sing to us? Don’t you know a simple stroll under the moonlight has stronger and deeper meaning that all those expensive gifts or that holiday in the 5 star hotel? Can’t men understand we want to hear and experience how you cherish us? This all may sound corny and very much old 1920’s romantic films BUT even the singing is like strangled cats, the dinner is charchol and the literacy of your poem slaughters the language like a G.W Bush speech. At least it IS from you. That’s what matters. Dont you think?
Its called equality, women with hairy armpits, wearing overalls put an end to romance. Now the PC think Police are on our backs telling us what to think. You have your own gender to thank for this, chilvery is dead. So if I was you I would throw away your under arm shaver, start wearing bute after shave, drink pints of larger, start swearing like a trooper, fart loudly, start wearing pin stripe suits to the office, be agressive to any man that might look at you admiringly.
Can I avoid a bad Christmas gift politely?
My parents and extended family have been giving me HEB gift cards for gifts during all gift-giving holidays since I moved out. I really appreciate the thought, but I’m getting $200 worth of groceries when I only spend about $20 a week (I’m a college student happily living off of ramen and sushi). Things have been like this for about a year, and now that christmas is coming up, I’m dreading rushing out and buying everyone presents while they’re simply grabbing a gift card while they pay for their groceries. I don’t want to seem ungrateful, I could just use the money elsewhere.
There is one thing that I really want, though, that is completely out of my price range. I found a beautiful, excellent quality celtic harp that I’ve wanted for about a year. It’ll cost around $2900, and is way out of my price range. Is there a polite way to ask if your family could help pitch in to get the harp instead of the typical gift card?
