I have been looking at houses with an awesome realtor and am now buying from an owner…is this wrong?

Our realtor has been awesome and became a great friend… 24/7 she is available and responds immediately, she seems to go out of her way to help us, leaving family functions to show us houses, even on holidays… she has just been amazing but all the houses we’ve found in our price range have been too outdated. A woman my mom knows is selling her house by owner and we’re getting a great deal on it and going to buy it from her. She doesn’t want to work with a realtor and we realize all the hard work and time our realtor has put in with us will be down the drain and she won’t get a penny. I feel horrible for wasting soo much of her time. Is this wrong to do or should I be looking out for myself and take this house? Should I give my realtor a gift or gift card or something to thank her for her time… I know I can’t give her as much as she’d make in commission if I bought a house…but I feel like there’s got to be something I can do.
