What to buy the man who has everything for Christmas?
Men are notoriously difficult to buy for at Christmas time and even though your man might not exactly have everything he will probably have everything that he wants and needs. After all, he has you and his family, a roof over his head, food, clothes and maybe the odd cuddle if he’s very good – what more could he want?
Although this may be true, it’s still a good idea to buy him a nice gift at Christmas time and you might need a little inspiration or a few ideas to get you started?
Hobbies and Sports
Obviously, if he has a hobby or favourite sports team this will simplify matters somewhat. For most hobbies there will be an item of equipment or clothing that he needs but hasn’t yet gotten around to buying or, maybe, there is an item of memorabilia or souvenir you could buy for him.
TV Shows and Films
Most men will have a favourite TV series or film series and a box set of DVD’s will always be welcomed. For some films and TV series you can also buy books or memorabilia which are associated with the show and these always make great gift ideas.
Days Out and Adventure
For a really original gift idea why not treat him to a big day out or a weekend away? You can buy experience gifts which provide a day driving sports cars, flying a plane or even parachuting. Alternatively, for a more relaxed treat, what about a weekend away at a country hotel or a city break?
Jewellery
Often overlooked when one tries to think too hard, the classic gift ideas can sometimes be the best and jewellery often fits the bill to a tee. A nice watch or pair of cufflinks are most traditional but don’t rule out items such as rings or bracelets for the more modern man. The great thing about jewellery of course is that you will always find something to suit your budget, whether it be limited or less so.
Get Personal
Personalised gifts are very popular nowadays and there are a wide range of ideas. It could be something traditional like an engraved watch or something more original like a personalised bathroom bag, a hand painted plaque or a leather wallet embossed with his initials.
Gadgets & Big Boy’s Toys
For the younger male there is an endless range of gadgets and gizmo’s which will keep them entertained, from novelty items costing just a few pounds to ultra high-tech radio controlled models costing hundreds, there will be something to suit his interests perfectly.
No matter what kind of gift you choose to buy, and no matter what the budget, don’t worry too much about the final choice as most men are quite easy to please really. Have a great Christmas!

Christmas Gifts Weekends Away Questions
Convince my mom to let me go to a concert? With her?
Okay there is this concert thats happening in about September and its the LAST of theirs; meaning like theres never going to be a tour or another concert from them. And i asked my mom if i could go, and of course i would be going with her. She said she had to work and i said its on the weekend, then i said that it could be one of my Christmas gifts .. the concert is about 4 hours away. And i told her that were never going to find another concert in our area because they are mostly all placed in Philidalphia. My mom doesnt even want to hear the sound of asking to go .. i wanna go with her but she wont even listen its making me sad and mad .. because i really REALLY wanna see there last performance!
Is there ANYTHING i can do to change her mind; this concert means a lot to me .. i offerd to pay for half of the tickets and she didnt even listen.
help please!
reason with her…
ask her something like, what can I do to convince you to let me go…
most of the time, this works with my mom…
ussually it is something like:
Empty the dishwasher without me having to ask you and not make me have to find a babysitter for you…
that works most of the time…
except for the whole me find a babysitter…
I love my son, but I hate looking for babysitters…
babysitters blow goats…
but good luck!
prom date issues?
So my date and I have been planning for prom since Christmas. She said yes and her parents said “we don’t like it, but yes” a few weeks ago. I thought I got the verification. So I went out and spent close to $800 on new clothing (tux, shoes, tie, shirt) and gifts (i.e. flowers). I even told my coach I cannot attend the State Championship that weekend because I know it wouldn’t be fair to my date for me to have a possibility to be late. Last week, her parents exploded onto her due to a snowball of issues and took away many of her priviledges and grounded her. And now they say “Hell no, you can’t go with him.” It’s kinda a racial issue too, since her parents are prejudice. But it’s not fair to me, since they already said yes and I spent so much money and sacrificed so many things just for her. I can’t go with someone else because it wouldn’t feel right and many of the things I bought are customized for me and her. What should I do?
go to their house and talk with her parents. let them know what you’ve given up. I think they might have been upset at the time and now if they’ve cooled off they might go with it
