• Kitchenalia: This includes toasters; blenders; food processors and especially new saucepans.  Lady baby boomers do not wish to see anything that grates, cuts, chops or juices under the Christmas tree.
• Handkerchieves:  Who uses handkerchieves nowadays apart from very old baby boomers who should be persuaded that tissues are more hygienic?
• Practical pyjamas: PYGAMAS?! What were you thinking?!  Ditto slippers.
• Socks: Socks are everyday wear and should not be given as gifts, especially at Christmas and never to ladies.
• Cookbooks: (See Kitchenalia).  Groan… We are not interested in what you want to eat!  Well, perhaps we are but not at Christmas and not as part of a thoughtful Christmas gift.  Save the cookbooks for Valentine’s Day (uh – no that was a joke…)

The sexy stuff is what makes the World go round for lady baby boomers with a taste for romance.  However, it is important when buying sexy presents for ladies to bear in mind that not every push up balcony black lace bra and matching thong will be to your lady’s taste.  If you are in the least unsure about what your lady likes to wear in the undergarment section, do yourself a favor and stay well clear of the lingerie department.

If you insist that sexy undies are the way forward, remember that ladies lingerie stores are patronized mostly by ladies shopping for themselves – don’t handle the merchandise; don’t loiter near the changing cubicles and don’t ogle other shoppers to try to guess their size – it’s rude and might land you in trouble, so ask the sales assistant for help. Christmas gifts for a 6month old.?

My baby will be 5months on Dec 6th, not quite 6months, but what do i get him for Christmas?
I bought him a rocking dog that he can sit on, little tykes,
A blue stuffed thing, and an elmo that talks.
do i buy him clothing or wait for family to do that? or should i buy him more toys, or should i just get him a few toys and a few outfits?
he is my first child, and im not sure what to get him, and also i am aware that all eyes will be on him, and on what I get him, please give me an idea. and for our family its not cost its quantity
I just need ideas what to get a baby, lol.

Our son will be almost 8 months at christmas. His grandparents will be getting him enough clothing and he doesn’t know what’s going on or have any concept of presents so we just bought him 3-4 toys mostly for us to have fun giving them to him. You can get him some toys you like for 6months and up. A soft ball, a fisher price toy, they love toys that play music or light up…. We got my son a $50 toy that lights up and plays music with a mirror behind it that will be good from now until he is about 2 or 3 years old (grows with the baby). Also a baby laptop that starts with music and teaches colors and shapes when the baby is older. And a few soft toys for cheap from Ikea. That’s it. I may go and get him a package of bubbles because he loves watching them and tries to catch them… it’s cute! Sounds like you already have enough for him though…
