Should I just sell my mother’s christmas gift I have bought her?
I spent 100 dollars on her for christmas but lately her and her boyfriend have been treating me like a slave, ordering me around, trying to sell the bunny my boyfriend JUST bought me yesterday which she said he could buy me, and being rude making fun of me, pushing me, throwing things at me, complaining, getting drunk, ETC. I feel like crap and I just think I should return the gifts I got for her. Should I? This has been going on for awhile and shows no signs of stopping.
I know she will always be my mother but she always does things like this to me i don’t think she deserves it and I rather buy my boyfriend another gift
If you do that, than you’d be stooping to their immaturity level. Be the better person and give her the gifts with a long letter telling her how their treatment is pushing you away. Don’t wrap the gifts…just hand them to her on Christmas morning with the letter, and then maybe go to another room. If she decides to get violent with you because she seems to think you’re disrespecting her, then tell her you want the gifts back so you can take them back to the store. It’s so sad to hear that it doesn’t matter what time of year it is that people get abused, and Christmas is just another day to them. It sounds like your mom doesn’t want you to be happy. Maybe you can arrange to spend Christmas with your boyfriend’s family. You don’t deserve to get treated this way period. Other than that I don’t know what else to tell you. But I do hope that things get better..after all Christmas is considered the season for miracles
