More often than not, gifts come as a reality check for how strong your relationship is. Women can be astoundingly complicated but don’t worry. There’s a way to get around it and hit on their soft spot!
You finally met the woman of your life. You’ve either been together for 2 weeks or 2 years, may it be birthday, anniversary or Monday, everyday is a good day to compliment your significant other with a proof of the consistency of your feelings. Or bank account, ouch! There are milestones gifts as we know, engagement or wedding rings for example, but you can probably take care of that alone. You can always bring a flower now and then, something little to spice the dull moments, but what you want right now is to surprise her with something pretty and unexpected, am I right? It doesn’t take a genius to pick the right gift, you just need the right strategy. Plan your moves and take action!
You already know what she likes in general, if not I’d suggest you wait at least 10 minutes before you give gifts to random girls and call them “girlfriend,” OK? Perhaps she gave you hints on what she’d need or wish, they can come as subtle as “the TV is broken” or as explicit as “I’ve seen a dress today in the shop…”. You can either acknowledge them or go for the bold decision: absolute surprise factor. What I’d suggest is obviously the latter. You don’t want to buy a washing machine if all she wants is a TV set, of course. It doesn’t need to be eccentric. Keep it smart and simple. Take advantage of the situation and give her something you can both enjoy: perhaps some time together?
A gift is nothing but a symbol of how strong your bond is, why don’t you play this card around and offer her a romantic trip for two? A night out in fancy restaurant? Is she into spa and massages? You can’t go wrong with such ideas, keep it intimate to build your relationship. Take the opportunity to spend some time with her in a relaxing environment. Turn off your phone, log out of Facebook already and focus on such brief and yet happy moments, because in the end that’s what she’ll remember the most.

What is the absolute NEWEST kids/family DVD release appropriate for a 3yr old bday gift?
My little cousin’s are having a birthday party today and I need a gift. They love movies but they have a LOT so I want to make sure I buy the absolute newest DVD that has JUST come out What are the newest kids/family DVDs released this month that are appropriate for children ages 2~5? (one child is almost 4 years old and the other is turning 3 this week) They have almost ALL the Disney & Pixar Movies, Baby Genius, Wiggles, Thomas the Train, etc…so I need some suggestions of movies that have been released within the last week (or released in the last 2 or 3 weeks.) If it isn’t really new or an amazing movie that is obscure that they are unlikely to have… than they will most definitely own it already.The party is TODAY at noon, so I need to know the suggestions by 10am today to be able to get to the store in time. Thanks!!!!
Perhaps since they have SOO many movies, you should give them something else? (Like a toy for outdoor use, perhaps)
To help encourage them to play outside or do other things rather than watching TV all day – too much TV is a HUGE problem for kids these days.
Did I make a serious mistake on Grandson’s gifts?
My grandson’s birthday, and Christmas, are both coming up soon. I buy stuff online, as there’s no selection in our small town area.. I thought he’d like software to improve his videos, so I ordered him a nice program. He’s always making videos to put up on Utube. It’s his passion.
Also, we asked the kids for a Christmas list. One of his items was a Genius G Pen writing tablet. I found it on Amazon, ordered that for him.
Then, Thursday when he was here, I asked him what kind of system his computer has on it. His grandpa had reconditioned one and sent it to him. Grandson says it’s an older version of Windows. Dang! I see on the box that the software for movies requires at least Windows XP, and the Genius G Pen tablet is for Vista. Oooooops!!!!
Did I buy him 2 fairly expensive gifts that he won’t even be able to use? How do I fix this? Help! We are celebrating his birthday this coming weekend. What do I do now?
its probebly xp. i wouldn’t worry to much, i mean you cant do video editing or photoshop (im guessing thats what the other thing is for) on anything older then xp anyway. he sounds like he is good with computers, he should know how to update to vista. vista is an older version of windows now anyway. 7 is out. he will find a way to make it work. my friend is iinto youtube videos and i know he would love both of those. i think u did pretty good. theres way to make vista programs work on xp most of the time. just give him what you have, and im sure it will work.
btw it is spelled youtube not utube. and a cd for vista can be used on 3 computers legally so if u have one or know someone that has one he can use that.
