18th Bday Personalized/Unique Gift Ideas?
So my 18th birthday is fast approaching and my parents are asking what I would like.
We have both agreed that something personalized/ unique that I can keep would be nice.
I have no idea on the budget (they wont tell me).
Please suggest any ideas no matter how strange

An affordable birthday present for a boyfriend who has it all (please read on)?
I know people always ask what to get someone who has everything, but I’m at a loss here. It seems like all he wants, he just goes out and buys (if he wants a house, he buys it… wants a new car; he go buys it, etc). I want maybe something unique and affordable (I’m still unemployed, unfortunately). I thought about getting a special cake made in a shape/theme of something he likes (like football), or getting a personalized gift (engraved). My problem is, I don’t have a clue as to what I can get him to personalize.
Anyway, it doesn’t have to be expensive (I prefer it not to be); I just want it to be “different.”
Any ideas?
If it matters, he’s from Mexico and we both speak and love Spanish. 
(Just putting it out there if someone can think of a “cultural” gift.)
