Baby shower gift ideas?
I am a mommy of a 18 month old and now my baby cousin is having her first baby. I would like to get her something unique for her baby shower and I decided on a homemade basket of things she’ll need but people won’t think to get for her. So far a I have witch hazel in case she tears during delivery, breastfeeding pads, thermo to keep water/milk warm for the baby, colic drops and thats it. I need some idea from mommies and daddies on things they didnt know they needed until after baby was born. I dont want her going to walmart in the middle of night. Thank You!
The things that I would recommend would be:
Medela Nipple Shield (it is often painful in the beginning to breastfeed, and that little silicon nipple shield helped me out a lot)
Lansinoh Lanolin Cream
Little Noses (Saline Drops) for the baby. If the baby gets stuffy, just put one or two drops in each nostril, wait 30 seconds, and then use the nasal suction to get the boogers out!
DermoPlast (They’ll probably give her a can of this at the hospital but it does not hurt to have an extra can at home)
